Ringover launches AI-driven Pitch Room to boost sales training

Ringover has announced the launch of Pitch Room, an AI-driven training solution that lets sales teams simulate exchanges with virtual prospects or customers.

The new product enables users to build bespoke personas and run various scenarios to simulate realistic sales calls. Difficulty levels and communication styles can be adjusted, while real-time AI suggestions are provided during the simulation. Once complete, users receive an automated analysis of their performance, intended to pinpoint strengths and areas for improvement.

AI for sales simulation

Pitch Room is aimed primarily at mid-market businesses and larger enterprises, particularly those managing multiple sales teams. According to the company, the tool provides a scalable onboarding solution for new sales hires. It enables seasoned staff to test different strategies and develop their communication skills without risking live customer relationships.

The AI-powered module builds on the wider Ringover Empower platform, which has incorporated AI-driven features since 2023. Ringover has focused on producing software that supports sales operations since its founding in 2018, and views Pitch Room as a continuation of those efforts.

The module allows sales staff to train through simulated calls with virtual counterparts. In these exercises, staff can create personas and scenarios matching the challenges of their day-to-day roles, including selecting the negotiation stage and the conversational style of the virtual prospect or customer.

Personalised feedback and measurement

One of the principal features of Pitch Room is the provision of immediate AI advice during training calls. Each completed scenario is followed up with a detailed post-call report, which analyses user performance and measures improvement over time. The system is intended to make every simulation a learning opportunity, allowing staff to review their approach and refine their sales techniques in a low-risk environment.

“Sales performance and customer support specialists know that there is no substitute for experience in learning these trades. Today, artificial intelligence allows us to generate interactions that are as close as possible to real-life experience, thereby maximising the learning potential while eliminating the associated risk.” Ludovic Rateau, CEO of Ringover

Pitch Room’s simulation environment is designed for flexibility, applicable not just to sales conversations but also to after-sales service and marketing situations. The platform allows an organisation’s teams to create fictional characters reflective of actual contacts or realistic industry personalities, customising scenarios to align with distinct business requirements.

Scalability for large organisations

The tool’s flexibility and scalability aim to support the continuous development of both junior and experienced sales staff. The company highlights the potential for widespread adoption among larger groups that need to deliver training across multiple teams simultaneously. The immediate insights and tailored advice after each simulation are intended to help improve both the onboarding process for new talent and the strategic refinement for established employees.

The ability to adjust not only the content and style of training but also its complexity is intended to create an appropriate challenge for sales representatives at different experience levels. The focus on analysing each session with post-call feedback and highlighting development areas is positioned as a cornerstone of ongoing professional growth.
