Craig Sumner joins Pemamek USA as Area Sales Manager, bringing extensive expertise in welding automation and service management to support the company’s growth in North America.
Pemamek USA, a daughter company of the Finnish Pemamek Oy, is pleased to announce the appointment of Craig Sumner to its growing team. Sumner’s extensive experience in welding automation, sales, and service management further reinforces Pemamek’s commitment to enhancing its position in the heavy manufacturing industry.
With extensive industry experience, Sumner’s career began with hands-on roles in quality assurance and sales support at The Lincoln Electric Company. After earning his bachelor’s degree in economics from Ohio Northern University, he spent eight years in Lincoln Electric’s sales team, delivering automation solutions across the Midwest.
Sumner later obtained an MBA from the University of Kentucky and transitioned to the role of Service Network Manager, where he optimized repair capabilities and field support. Most recently, he expanded his expertise in complex manufacturing processes while working with a defense contractor on submarine and aircraft carrier components.
As a key addition to the Pemamek USA team, Sumner will play a critical role in advancing the company’s U.S. and Canadian operations, supporting customers in automating their most challenging heavy fabrication processes.
