Green Gully Brewing & Distilling Are Hiring A Sales Manager

Green Gully Brewing & Distilling produce a distinctive range of beers – and other fermented products – at their farm brewery on Phillip Island: a small operation that ploughs its own furrow, occasionally hosting guests in the paddock by the brewery.

They’re looking to hire a beer-loving sales manager to join the team.

JOB DESCRIPTION: SALES MANAGER

Ready to Rock the Mic & Drive Our Farm Beverage Portfolio!

Green Gully Brewing and Distilling is far from your average beverage company. Born on our farm in 2017, we’ve spent time quietly maturing and earning awards for our distinctive portfolio – from unique beers, signature spirits, hard sodas, seltzers, ciders, and non-alcoholic drinks.

We’re ready to amplify our distinctive voice, and we need a casual hands-on Sales Manager to “Rock The Mic” and make it happen. If you’re not down with the market-dominating nonsense, you love autonomy, and you’re obsessed with quality over gimmicks, this is your chance to own a powerful sales strategy within a supportive, family-run business.

The Role: Own the Town. Drive the Growth.

We need a sharp, commercially-minded leader to significantly expand our brand presence and bottom line across Melbourne and regional Victoria.

  • Expand Our Footprint: Identify and secure new business with venues, wholesalers, and retail outlets.
  • Relationship Architect: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with all stakeholders, from restaurant and bar owners to logistics partners.
  • Commercial Accountability: Own the sales plan, hit measurable targets, and manage pricing/promotional activity with third-party distributors to ensure commercial sense.
  • Brand Ambassador: Host tastings, run presentations, and know when to let our quality beverages do the talking.
  • Autonomy & Travel: Minimal office time. Maximum time in the field building business.

You, Ideally:

You are a self-driven, self-managed closer with a genuine passion for the craft beverage industry.

  • Proven Sales History: Strong background in sales and account management is essential. Bonus points for experience in beverages, FMCG, or hospitality.
  • People Skills: You can read the room and adapt your approach, whether you’re talking finance with a venue owner or chatting casually with a punter.
  • Professional, Not Corporate: Highly organised, articulate, and professional when it counts—but otherwise, chill and down-to-earth.
  • Required: Current RSA, Valid Driver’s License, and ability to obtain a National Criminal History Check.

The Offering:

We care more about the work than the talk. We offer a culture that’s supportive, respectful, and allergic to bureaucracy.

  • Expected Hours: Casual part-time, no greater than 100 hours per month
  • Flexible Package for casual employees or subcontractor with ABN
  • Flexible Working Arrangements to suit your situation—more time for a young family, study or the golf course is okay!
  • Complimentary Access to our award-winning products.
  • Work with a well-established, tight-knit family business that values authentic connection.

Ready to Own It?

If you are creatively curious, commercially sharp, and ready to make things happen – —this isn’t just a job; it’s a chance to fully own a diverse brand and portfolio’s growth story.

TO APPLY:

Send us something that truly tells us who you are. CVs are fine, but history lessons, short and long stories, trade experience, and references are more realistic.

Email your application to: [email protected].
